In 2010 I was lucky to have an artist residency "spystation nc1074"(link in comments) with Renew Newcastle thanks to Marcus Westbury Marni Jackson and Damian Castaldi. I applied for this from Berlin because thats the kinda reach a cool idea like Marcus' gets. 1) Spystation NC1074 - 1 month shopfront performance/installation in Newcastle, a spystation for the people, informing about venues and artists from around the world (including Australia), conducting language classes, the function of technology in art process/research.
